Can I be the first to ask if shillings are really that important? Does anyone play merchant characters? And most things are just applied for, anyway. That truly does raise some questions about the necessity of shilling, right now it's more or less a dickwaving contest rather than a genuine currency. I'd think a merchant character could be a viable solution to the latter, but I'm not certain how we would do this.

I use my shillings. I go to an admin with proper costs of things and calculate with them how much things would cost, then I on server, hand my shillings over to an admin or special character who doesn't need shillings or has vast quantities ICly, and that's that. I don't just asspull things.

Shillings were worth more before the conversion rate, to us at least. Now, they're equatable to a few dollars. For reference, the cost of a 1 room simple house in is 1,000 gp in dnd, or 3,333 shillings. An average home would probably cost 3 times that amount.

Save your shillings up so when the guy with the cool masks comes around, you can buy the most powerfulest ones in the world!

Updateish. Nerfed hit die for lower hp per level and adjusted accordingly. Changed "no caster level cap for spells" to a bonus based on half a technomage's level. Raised crafting prices to something more appropriate, was not satisfied with the previous prices. That's it, I think.
