I'm actually just removing many of the physics props. I may keep a few, but I'm removing the ones that just get deleted anyway, which is primarily barrels.

EDIT: Need ideas on how to fix needing to duck to enter the prison. I can't just raise the lower portion of the roof, and I can't expand the higher portion, because there's a room above that prison.

I don't think that's near-worth of calling a keep at all. I could make it a second story at some point, but I need to figure out what to do with the prison first.

Guess I'll need to do some thick mounting. I compiled a test version and for some reason it's fullbright, trees are missing, and the best part is I can literally walk on water.

Water means the brush hasn't compiled as a func_water which is because you have a leak which is why it's fullbright. Load up your pointfile and follow the red line.

Nah, that's not the issue, I was just missing textures, so no properties could be baked on. I had to decompile some huge GCF files to be able to use the materials and such but I'll try compiling again.

Made the lights from fire, like in the tavern and guardhouse flicker instead of fade so strangely. It's not very noticeable unless you look closely, but I may experiment with it more. I also replaced tons of cubemaps around the city, for the new models that have any type of shine. After generic map shit like this is done, I can move on to enlarging buildings and such, and it should be much faster. Aside from that, I may know of a cheesy way to have the night version done within 10 seconds (plus compile).

Toned the lighting and shadows on the map now that some of these are fixed. Shadows are now a nice cool blue color, and lighting was already a warm yellow. I'll probably brighten the environment light a bit though, the map is pretty dark. It looks bad with the recommended brightness though, so I won't overdo it. Here's the current though with the new tinting and such, but it's probably not super noticeable.

It was pretty obvious, it's the only door is giving a shadow in contrary to the light. The light is illuminating that area, but the door is giving a shadow from the light inside the room not outside.

You can either specify a lighting origin or use a blocklight brush to fix the problem.
