Heterochromia doesn't mean blind in one eye, if that's what you're getting at.

Still the fact remains, it looks silly and its pointless.

It adds a unique feature to a character to allow them to stick out partially, don't call it weird, call it unique. People have the right to RP odd conditions but you shouldn't call it pointless, just makes the character stick out a bit more.

I honestly couldn't give two shits. We all happen to pull off cliche things, so what? Just because some do it, doesn't mean the others cannot.

Defining features are good, and finding a very plausible reason to have one of those features like an eyepatch, isn't worthy of an entire forums worth of plebs going, "OMG LOL SO WEABOO"

Since when was having different coloured eyes forfeiting your own culture for the Japanese one anyway.

It's just that random coloured eyes (hurrhur piercing red) is so common as a nooby way to make characters seem unique.

There's a stigma associated with certain physical traits, such as oddly colored hair, or unique eye colorings like this. It's often a red flag for a Mary Sue character, who is made to be attractive and/or "unique" to the point of ridiculousness. As for the weeaboo thing, well, where can you find a lot of Mary Sue characters? Anime.

There's nothing really wrong with this character having heterochromia, but we should be careful. If we keep on accepting traits like this, next thing you know everyone will have heterochromia or something similar, and it will cease to be unique or even remotely logical. For now, stop complaining over the character's eye color.

'Kay, people, this isn't a Mary Sue, nor is it just because I wanted Ciel to be special. Basically, the way she was before was just because of laziness.


Here is Ciel Phantomhive, an incredibly rude little 13 year old boy who wears an eyepatch over the eye he had contracted with a demon.

Instantly I fell in love with this little bitch-child, and poof, Ciel Lorrias was born. At the time, Ciel was made into MousePie, though I felt bored without Olden and didn't bother to change anything much (Meaning, I was just being a lazy-ass and typing what came to mind, also being too lazy to edit the original picture I used, so it wouldn't have a dumbarse pink eye).

I didn't really enjoy roleplaying Ciel until Olden 'revived', when I actually began going in-depth to her personality, and actually caring and enjoying playing her. Still, though, I kept what she originally had, because I was still being a lazy-ass, and also because to me it wouldn't be the same Ciel.

So, for all you dumbarses, stop saying anything other than it being because of my weeabooism, cause really, that's all she was.

Even though I get annoyed to bejeezus with weeaboos, it ain't that big of a deal about the eyes and all that. Shit like that's more creative than anything I can muster up.

Just because I don't like weeaboos, doesn't mean that I don't like them in this community. So long as they don't go "KAWAII DESU DESU" or whatever the hell, I'm fine.
