There has been some confusion, recently, over who's accepts count and who's accepts don't.
The simple answer is EVERYONE's accepts count.
The qualification for character accepts are--
A) A general consensus on acceptance
B) No strong points brought up by analysts
C) At least one admin's analysis and approval.
This means that, no matter the popular opinion of a character, one admin must take a look and state their opinions on the character. This is, more or less, the final opinion. This doesn't mean that an admin can accept a character the public does not approve of. It means that for a character that has public approval, an admin must at least take a look at the character before it can be accepted. Likewise, an admin cannot accept a character without general public consensus.
In the case of an admin's personal character, the admin him or herself cannot grant his or her accept.
Regarding event or plot characters, otherwise known as "Special" characters, these being characters who's whole existence is to bring about certain aspects or plot points, these require only admin acceptance. This is with the understanding that An event character is never a personal character--it's sole purpose is to bring roleplay in the form of plots and events to the community.
