To clarify on the value of gold in Olden.
2 gold buys you an ale at the bar. 5 gold buys you a edible meal. 15 gold buys you a pretty standard dagger. 50 gold buys you some form of light armor, like a hauberk or scale mail. 200 gold buys you a full set of plate mail. Anywhere from 4000 to 15 000 will buy you most houses within the city walls.

The bounty is supposed to be unrealistic for the time being, I just think there's a chance this could rope in players to the Vitamantia event who aren't already involved.

No, but seriously. I hope people realise that guards aren't pushovers anymore, and stop doing this. But to be honest, I only see the new people and the people who can't really roleplay that well do this. And they often don't bother to read the forums.
