The DUTY-BOUND picks up multiple entries. It sends a message to the Eternal Freedom and the Tet'Sta. "Thanks for the help with those pirate ships. We wish for your ambassadors to meet with us." The ship then stops, watching the other ships as it readies to recieve the pods from the PROTAGON. On the planet, most pirate resistance has been crushed. The troopers have broken open the hatch and are pouring into the hole, guns blazing in any direction.

**A single K-2400 dropship is sent from the bay of the Eternal Freedom to board the pirate vessel. It lands, as two away teams get out securing the bay, and a Support UAV is unloaded. They begin moving across the ship, taking prisoners. A select few try and shoot the Konnh, but are quickly dispatched. Control of the pirate vessel is now in Konnh hands. Herzeleid prepares a message.

"Duty Bound, this vessel holds some interesting history and technology. If you're willing to share the planet, we'll hand over the information."

The DUTY-BOUND wastes no time in preparing a reply to the Eternal Freedom. "We were here first, Konnh. Keep your ship, but leave along with your Turnal Alliance friends. This is -our- sector." The DUTY-BOUND's crew have their weapons pointed towards the Eternal Freedom, ready to charge and fire every weapon in their arsenal. "That is, unless you wish to ally with us."

"So be it, we'll need six hours to look over this vessel and we will be out of your hair."

**A team of engineers is transported to the pirate vessel as pirates are locked up aboard the Eternal Freedom. The engineers begin to strip the small vessel of new technology and schematics.

Without warning, the escape pods disappear from the system in bright cyan flashes, one by one slipping away into riftspace. The commander gave the order to leave, out of distrust of the Federation and their xenophobia.

** The pirate vessel is quickly studied, and has all supplies taken. they power engines and begin to move to a new location. A hyperspace window opens and the Eternal Freedom jumps through.

Several ships comprised of a Goliath Class, four Revenge class Cruisers and about eight Bongo missile barges exit hyperspace, slowly drifting towards the planet, a text broadcast in common is emitted from the ships, trying to contact the F.I.S forces stationed there.
"This is the captain of the Scavenger's Guild Goliath, we request permission to harvest materials from the scrap vessels in your orbit."

The Federation outpost on the surface recieves the mesage, nodding in reply as it comes over the radio. They move around various units and boxes before pressing a switch. The Outpost commander talks into the recorder. "Roger that Goliath. You are cleared to take anything up there, it's all yours. Just don't bring to bear any weapons or you will be charged for crimes against the Federation. Other than that, enjoy your stay. Try the shit on the wall, I hear it's quite exotic." The message is sent and the commander resumes his boring shift, browsing for space-porn on his datapad.

The Guild ships begin to work, Splicers swarming out of the Goliath class as they begin to dis-assemble many of the more destroyed ships, the Hercules tugs hauling them back to the mothership to be processed. An Atlas class arrives in the system, maneuvering over to the more intact pirate vessel, where it begins to attach it's couplings, eventually taking it under it's hull and flashing off into hyperspace with it's cargo.

//Would either of the destroyed FIS ships be in good enough condition to be brought back and overhauled/repaired, or are they both buggered beyond belief? If the latter, then normal salvage'll continue as normal, though if one's in halfway decent condition an Atlas will return to pick it up.

The Federation outpost's radio uplink buzzes and beeps for a few seconds before turning off for the day. The liquid sun roasts the ground, granting no object clemency from it's scorching rays. Federation work continues as rumours of the discovery of red matter are hushed.

** A few hundred miles off the FIS base a hyperspace window opens blasting a wave of dust in all directions. A Aturor cruiser slowly comes through, engines making the cloud larger. It powers shields as their fighter bays open. A swarm of twenty or so fighters bolt out and fly at the farming settlement. Their goal, take as many humanoids as possible.

The commander spots the unknown cruiser from his radar, almost instantly calling for backup on all channels. The message is relayed to every known faction before the men start to set up. Large weaponry is set up on the fortress and AA guns line the area around. They lie in wait for any contacts to break through, determined and ready. At the bottom of the fortress, the commander observes a great weapon of mass destruction, waiting to deny the use of the planet to any invaders.

** At the farms, people are sucked up into the beams the Aturor fighters produce as they fly over.

The cruiser engages thrusters and moves towards the fortress. It begins to come into sight, large and menacing as some may be disheartened to be under armed against a space cruiser.

***Only a few minutes pass before a window opens a few hundred meters off the planet's atmosphere, a cruiser identifiable as the AURION II enters space, quickly setting course for the planet.
The cruiser quickly powers everything up. Shields, automatic defense turrets, launch bays. Everything. Loud alarms sound within the ship as soldiers scramble to their transports and pilots run for their fighters. Drivers get in their vehicles and commanders get into their heavy armored vehicles. A large amount of encrypted radio signals echo from the ship, one of them broadcasts on the F.I.S. channel.

"Attention all F.I.S. forces; this is the Sewonian cruiser AURION II. We have recieved your signal and are currently approaching your planet. Do not open fire; we are friendly. Point us at the targets and we'll show them fire."

***A large collection of fighters exit the bays. Accurately counting there would be 65 of them. When the cruiser enters the atmosphere, the fighters quickly get into formation around it as they adjust speed and bearing to keep up with it.

"We read you, AURION II, guide yourself in and take out that unkown cruiser. Be wary, however. We haven't seen this species before and we have many farmers on this planet, not to mention our current garrison. Aim fast and true. FIS, out."

The guns begin to open fire upon the fighters anywhere in the vicinity of the fortress, and at the cruiser.

** The Aturor fighters go nowhere near the base, but return to the ship after taking hundreds of the colonists up with their transport beams. They dock with the ship, and what will happen to the colonists is unknown.

The ship gets closer to the base, now raising in elevation. Its hull guns begin firing purplish green pulse discharges at the base in a hail of fire.

*** The AURION powers up its engines, heading full speed straight for the Aturor cruiser, having registered it once it opened fire.
*** All the fighters disengage from formation and instead begin speeding ahead of the cruiser, towards the Aturor ship.
*** A massive amount of decrypted radio signals echo from all the 65 ships in unison, as their on-board computers lock on their Sweeper missiles to the cruiser. A few seconds after lock-on, quick burst of encrypted signals echo from the mass of fighters once again, as they all release a massive hail of high-explosive missiles aimed for different parts of the Aturor ship. The fighers quickly attempt to disengage after they've fired the missiles, pulling upwards and trying to fly over the Aturor ship.

The men on the outpost take more fire, dealing it in kind. The commander continues to contemplate using the special device.

** The cruiser comes to a halt. The last of the fighters coming into the bays. It holds still as its pulse cannons fire on the base. The base's defenses hardly damage the shield as what looks like a large thunder storm rapidly forms over the base. Lightning strikes various things as the clod begins to form, a hyperspace window.

OOC: Mack you do know this ship is literally on the planet. Your missiles may break apart, or take a long time to get to me. I'll respond to those in my next post.

With an audible boom, a blue-hued ship drops out of an incredible speed, it's hull unscarred and pristine. Along the side reads royally decorated Qetësi, the name of the ship displayed in sharp font. On board, warning lights instantly sound, with multiple sirens forcing crewmen to their posts diligently. On board, with her hair neatly pressed under a tidy military cap, the commander of the ship leans forwards onto a railing with the console's mouthpiece close by. She activates the communications system as the shields on her ship flare up and wrap the hull in strong protection, and with sharp golden eyes looks straight ahead at the planet they managed to appear so close to as they pass into the atmosphere with odd amounts of ease.

"To all forces in the area, this is Royal Commander Shëm qe-Ithantë of the Bielta Dallgë." As she speaks, the sharp fang-like incisors on the top and lower half of her mouth flash in and out of visibility. "We are here to aid the Federation, and the galaxy from the threat our honour has identified. Stand by for heavy bombardment."

With no further words, she stands back and folds her arms as the Bielta Dallgë's weapons appear out of slots in the hull. Twelve long-cannons in all protrude from all sections of the ship, instantly charging and releasing heavy bolts of cyan tachyon. On board, all turrets prepare to defend, but do not aid in the offensive barrage.

***The Sewonian cruiser starts to get closer to the ship, as their automated defense turrets begin firing upon it with their primitive machine guns. The anti-ship cannons begin firing a mass of Sweeper cannon rounds at the ship, sending the rounds in a calculated arch, trying to aim for the engines of the moving ship.
A message goes out on the FIS channel, as a mass of encrypted signals go out randomly.

"Attention all fighters; This is the AURION. We are currently sending out boarding parties to eliminate the hostile ship from inside. Cease fire or you stand risk of hitting our troops. Repeat; Cease. Fire. We are boarding."

*** As the message goes out, the fighters do a quick turn, and begin heading back towards the cruiser, as 10 III-266 troop transports exits the launch bays, heading towards the Aturor ship. The fighters seem to be heading into an escort formation with the transports.

** The light arms fire from the ground base pings off the shield, doing nothing. Missiles impact the shield, with minimal effect. The cruiser's hyperspace gate almost grows to completion when the tachyon particles impact it's shields, disrupting the gate. The Aturor ship goes dark, shields failing as it stays dark, the perfect time to board.
