**The heretics are lifted off their feet, their arms spread apart, their bodies convulse and spasm. The champion starts growing festering wounds all over his skin, and pus drips from him. The green warp portal sparks, expanding, gurgling noises and roars come from it. It quickly closes to a pinpoint again, slowly opening back up.

The Kasrkin squad quickly turn and point their guns towards the incoming Khornites, and duck down, concealing themselves behind rubble and warehouses.
A quiet whisper enters the Kasrkin vox channel.
"Callsign 42 here. More chaos. They seem to be charging the other heretics. We're standing by. Approach silently but quickly. We can take all of them out in a single go. Over."
"52. Affirmative. We're almost there, proceeding in silence. Over."
"72 to 42. Solid copy, they won't hear us coming. Over."
"This is 89th. We've been delayed slightly, but will be there in mere moments. Over."

**The Nurglites are shot and stabbed as they float in mid air, their wounds instantly fester over and drip with pus, as their chanting dies out. The corpses go limp, still floating in air as flies swarm their wounds. The aspiring champion of nurgle, now mutating with Nurgle's Rot at an alarming rate, picks up his sword. He addresses the followers of Khorne with an air of superiority and invincibility, "You call yourselves true followers to Kharneth, warriors of brutal violence and bravery? Look into the eye of Nurgle, and behold His glory. The champion points his sword at the growing warp portal, the outlines and faces of Nurglites and Plaguebearers coming from it. "I give you this offer, for Khornites know no eternal life as that of the followers of Nurgle. Give up now and pledge your allegiances to Nurgle, and you will be spared by the coming disease and plague! If you fight, then your despair and death by Great Nurgle's unholy plague will only feed us!"

**The Khornites stare around, bloodlust consuming them as the largest turns his bulging eyes to the aspiring champion of Nurgle. "You fool. The Red God promises us salvation in slaughter, we need no pitiful continued existence as an infested welp of the weak Plague God." As he barks each short snarl of a word, he slowly drops to his knees, muscles convulsing slightly. Slowly his head rolls up, eyes burning with fiery red irises that weren't there a moment ago. "And now He comes..." The man trails off falling back into the ground, the convulsing continuing, the tatoos that cover his body now lighting up to form one, linked, intricate pattern that connects to the khornite mark carved into his forehead. His meaty paw raises once more, and a distorted howl leaves his writhing throat. "K-kill! Maaaaaim! BBBBBBBBURRRRRRRRN!"

The rabble of Khornite gangers, who were seemingly unsure for a moment, then turn, raise their crude weaponry, and scream in chorus as one: "FOR THE RED GOD!" They charge, seeking to violently maim and tear apart the apsiring champion, their acts of violence only fueling the impending ritual taking place. One of the followers remains by the side of the bear-like man, raising his weapon to his neck, and slicing it, making loud gurgling noises as his lifeblood spills out over his leader's tatoos, the lights burning behind the patterns only becoming brighter. The dying man presses his finger to the exact centre of the khornite mark on the blood-covered man's forehead, and screams, as his torso then explodes, splattering more of his lifeblood and organs over the bear-like man. Rolling a few meters away, an insane smile is stretched between the disembodied lips of his severed head.

**The aspiring champion only laughs, a cackling wheeze. Nurgle's rot overcomes him at a very fast pace, his torso having become a bloated mass of flesh and scar tissue. The Khornites surround him, chopping away at his bulbous body, and he continues to laugh, raising his hands into the air. "You are too late, with my death, it is complete!" Before the Khornites can react, the champion explodes. The group surrounding him are enveloped in a green gas-cloud that would most likely instantly make them sick, while flies swarm them.

The symbol of the Lord of All is splashed with the pus, contagion, and ridden with flies sucking up the aforementioned for sustenance. The Nurglite warp glares a glorious green, and from it, nurglings pour out. They look around eagerly for a moment, seeing Khornites, they charge them in a swarm. "For Nur-gal! Nur-gaaaaaaal! Hehehehe!" More silhouettes seem marching to reality from inside the warp, far more deadly than this nurgling swarm.

**The gangers closest to the Aspiring Champion stumble back, dropping to their hands and knees, violently wretching and vomiting. The ones not close enough to be caught by the gas, spread out, afraid of the gas, and petrified of the portal now streaming nurglites from it. They scramble back, and form a circle around their leader, who continues to convulse, froth streaming from the side of his mouth, the blood and organs and general human matter that covered him are absorbed into the lines of his tatoos.

The other gangers, still violently vomiting, attempt to fight the nurglites, but are probably killed in short order, unable to properly fight back. They hopelessly empty their stubguns at the approaching hordes. One of them pulls two frag grenades from his belt, and lurches forward, ripping out the pins with his teeth, managing to vomit all over the explosives. The result is still effective, however, exploding admist some of the nurglites.

**The warp portal wavers again, a plague marine of the Death Guard stepping out, swarmed with flies. From behind him, more plague marines emerge. The lead marine wheezes and rasps,"Pestillence.. *gghhhkkk*.. and Plague."

The gangers remaining throw themselves forward against tide of pestillence, sacrificing their worthless lives for the completion of the blood ritual.

The roars reach cresendo, and the muscled ganger's body ripples, before the bones of his rib-cage re-form, ascending through his body and ripping out through his skull, two bloodied, terrifying bone horns now residing there. He slowly pushes himself to one knee, and as he does, horrific talons rip out of his fingers, his entire body spasming in unbearable pain. He tries to scream, but his vocal chords are ripping, and his teeth tear away from his gums, vile fangs forming in their place. Stumbling slightly, his muscles only bolster, still rippiling and increasing in size.

No longer a man, Khorne's brutal blessings have ravaged his body, and left him something deadly. The creature roars, an unearthly sound, before charging forward, swiping up one of the gangers and ripping it in half, letting it's blood pour over the creature's new body. It then rips up the makeshift sword it once used, and flings it with insane strength at the wave of nurglites, slicing through them like a hot knife through butter. It scoops up the last remaning Nurglite, bashing it against the ground until it is nothing but a pussy pulp in the creature's talons, before flicking it's hand, to remove this vile taint from it's glorious body.

It turns, to face the Plague marines, beating it's claws against the concrete floor of the warehouse, letting out a hideous challenging snarl.

**The plague marines stand motionless, their rotted helmets and gasmasks showing no emotion. The lead one speaks again, in his raspy voice, "As with all things.. this abomination of Khorne will come to ruin.. Infeeeeect it." The plague marines raise their bolters, firing at a steady and accurate rate.

**The creature begins forward on all fours, in a weaving pattern, attempting to be caught by as little bolter fire as possible. Regardless, some of the massive rounds tear through it's rippling muscles, causing it to stumble somewhat, sliding at a fast past into one of the Plague marines, crashing into the large shelves around the edge of the warehouse.

After a few moments, the creature reappears, leaping across the warehouse to the other shelves, pushing it down, causing a domino effect across the opposite side of the warehouse. It then lets out another bestial howl, slowly hefting one of the shelves in it's taloned hands, and spinning it across the floor of the warehouse towards the Plague marines.

**All while this happens, the plague marines stand motionlessly, keeping their steady rate of fire. A pair of plague marines turn slowly, as a shadow casts over them. They is crushed by the many shelves. 3 plague marines are hit by the shelf being tossed. One is clipped by the shelf and is knocked into the air, collapsing. He slowly starts to get up. The other two are caught under the shelf, they struggle for a moment, before they both grasp the shelf and start to heave at it, it slowly rises off them.

The 4 standing marines slowly advance against the creature, their diseased and infected bolters keeping their unholy fire on the creature.

A single loud commanding yell can be heard outside.

"ENGAGING THE CHAOS SCUM!"

Several loud clangs can be heard around the walls of the warehouse, maybe even a few beeps audiable over the fighting.

In less than two seconds, several man-sized holes explode in the sides of the Khorne- and Nurgle-infested warehouse, with dozens of fragmentation grenades beginning to rain in through the freshly exploded holes and windows located around the warehouse.

As the last grenade explodes, another yell echoes throughout the entire district as heavy lasfire blast through the holes at the Chaos-worshippers.

"EXPLOSIONS CLEARED! ENTER! ENTER! GO! GO! GO!"

Through the holes rush dozens upon dozens of black-clad Kasrkins, all firing their hotshot lasguns at any and all chaos-lovers with a vengeance.

The Khornite daemon is ripped at by the grenades, managing to scrabble behind the shelves, it lets out a pained howl as more shrapnel bursts through the shelf it cowers behind and tears into it's mutated muscles. At the arrival of the Karkskins, the daemon merely bashes through the wall, and dissapears into the hive, to slaughter unchecked for months to come, coming to the conclusion that the greater slaughter lies this way.

**The plague marines take the shrapnel with ease, although one of them dies, bursting into a cloud of plague. They slowly move into cover while firing on the Imperial Guard.

The Kasrkin forces swarm into the warehouse, now numbering in about three dozen. They're all mercilessly firing their hotshot lasguns and occasional plasma rifle at the plague marines. A bolter round manages to hit one of the Kasrkin in the side of the torso, and he falls to the floor gurgling as a large portion of his ribcage and chest is torn away in the explosion.

Another bolter round strikes true, and takes out another Kasrkin's arm, who scream out in pain for a second before falling to the floor.

The Kasrkin radio channel suddenly ligths up.

"THIS IS KASRKIN TASKFORCE G-133, WE'RE IN HEAVY ENGAGEMENT WITH CHAOS! WE NEED SOME BACKUP IN WAREHOUSE SECTION G-322-45F! AND CONTROL, ALERT ALL OTHER GUARD FORCES THAT THERE IS A CHAOS DAEMON RUNNING LOOSE IN THE LOWER HIVE! I REPEAT: WE HAVE A CHAOS DAEMON ON THE LOOSE!"
"Roger that G-133, we're deploying a seek-and-destroy force immediately.

**The plague marines hold their ground,"Infect for the plague God, the warp portal needs more sacrifice!". A plague marine is caught out of cover, getting gunned down by hot-shot lasguns. It lumbers onward, taking the shots, it's flesh catching fire. It is finished off with a plasma shot. The plague marine lets out a hiss and growl as it falls to the floor, its gasmask cracks against the concrete, maggots dropping from it. The lead plague marine hisses, opening it's decaying maw. Flies pour out of the plague marine's mouth, blinding a few Kaskrin and likely infecting them with some kind of disease.

** As the fighting continues on the surface of the planet, 35 Tyranids ships drop out of warp, a few heading into low orbit. With the planet's defences in such bad shape, it is easy for them to start shelling the planet. The "shells" being Mycetic spores, loaded with various Tyranids.Most spores fall away from the warehouse, but a few crash into the street outside. As the spores open a rather large figure comes out, as the smoke clears from the impact it is apprent that it is a Hive Tyrant in his hands are two bone swords; behind him the other two spores open, out from them comes a good sized swam of gaunts. Most of them are equiped with odd biomorphs, and some with spike rifles.
